Ran 5 miles with my Garmin and a brusied foot. Ran at a 9:45 pace and 2 of them were at a 9 minute pace.  I've brusied the bottom of my right foot, right on the ball of my foot.

Tough run today, I would have done 13 miles but my calfs started to cramp up at 11 miles. It was a learning experience. It also didn't help that I was running up hill the last 3 miles. I always end my run going up hill. My pace was at a 9:30 till I hit the hills. Once I lose about 30 lbs. it will be much easier.

Good to see you back. I started to get foot pain last week too. I spent last saturday and sunday rolling and stretching my lower legs.

Hows the feet (foot?)? I have been battling with very mild planter faciitis too. I roll and massage everyday and all day!!

Still sore its been getting better since I've been staying off my foot, but its hard because when I'm at work I'm on my feet all night.  So its getting better, I'm still taking it easy.

Is your foot still bothering you? Are you rolling and stretching? You can always cut back the mileage you have planned each day. I found cross training with biking and yoga to help with running soreness.

It felt so good to get my miles in today.  My foot is still a little sore, but I've got this new sock that stretches my calf while sleep.  So hopefully this gets me back on track.

I have seen that sock but was never sure if wearing it would help. You will need to let me know how that goes.

You should back off your miles too. You many want to start back at beginning of you running calendar. Take it slow!

My first race with my oldest daughter Maddie.  It was really fun and my daughter did really well until we hit the 2nd mile.  Maddie has allergy's and started to have problems so we had to stop a couple times.  I figured if we didn't stop we would have finished around 27 or 28 minutes.  The first couple of miles of the race our pace was about 9 minute.  So maybe my next race I'll do it alone.  My foot is much better.

Ran this morning almost at a 9 min. pace.  Almost got hit by a car, so much fun jumping out of the way of a bumper.  Foot is still a little sore, but good to go....

For some reason I'm running better now after I hurt my foot.  I ran a 9:16 pace which is a hugh improvment from before.  It's got to be the sock because I really don't notice I foot hurting anymore when I run.  9:22, 8:41, 9:57, 9:04     I love my Garmin!!!!

Yeah!!! I did an interval run and we got dumped on!! I tripped over a construction fence on my last interval. I turned it into a burpee and got right back up and finished my interval. Good times when we run!!

I ran a 9:21 pace which is pretty good for 7 mile.  I've been sore since the race.  My calfs have been really sore I think I'm going to start using compression socks.  The wind didn't help either while I was running.

Well I was going to run today but my wife had to work and my daughter started throwing up in the morning.  Which didn't give me anytime to do my workout because we were at the doctors and find out she has streap.  But I did get time to do my Insanity workout Yeah!!!! My core is really sore.
